A donation to the Children's Palliative Care Service of Lower Bavaria is close to our hearts, as we firmly believe that every day contributes to providing comfort and support to the affected families.
In times of challenges, it is of great importance that families are not left alone.
In January 2025, we generously presented a donation to the Children's Palliative Care Association of Lower Bavaria (Kinder-Palliativ-Hilfe Niederbayern e.V.). It was accepted by the chairman, Mr. Maximilian Rüb.
Mr. Rüb was delighted with the generous donation and expressed his sincere thanks. He then explained the mission and purpose of the non-profit organization: First, the most important task is to provide direct support to seriously ill and palliatively ill children and young people with a life-shortening diagnosis and their families. The second pillar is the St. Marien Children's Hospital in Landshut. With the help of our non-profit organization, the children's hospital was able to establish the SAPV KJ Team (Specialized Outpatient Palliative Care for Children and Young People) in 2016. With its specially trained doctors, nurses, psychologists, and chaplains, the SAPV team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and operates throughout Lower Bavaria. We support the team at the Landshut Children's Hospital in every way possible. As a third pillar, palliative care and pain therapy for seriously ill children and adolescents is currently being set up at the Third Order Children's Hospital in Passau with our support.
